Lori Carrion, Chief Executive Officer
Lori Carrion was appointed CEO of Panorama Meats in 2012. Since 2006, she has been part of the management team that led Panorama Meats to prominence as a leading branded beef company and the leading U.S. producer and marketer of organic and natural grass-fed beef.
Prior to her appointment as CEO, she held the COO position. She was Vice President, Sales from 2006 to 2010. During her tenure, she has overseen sales, distribution, quality assurance and production departments at Panorama Meats. She has also worked closely with Panorama Meats’ ranchers, helping them navigate the USDA process to receive and maintain organic certification..
Lori is a proponent of responsible rangeland management to preserve grasslands, watersheds and wildlife habitats in harmony with cattle grazing. She has a unique perspective on the economics of small scale, grass fed cattle ranching in the U.S. through her work with the family ranchers who raise cattle for Panorama Meats.
Lori is personally involved in California’s agriculture community as President of the Yolo County 4H Livestock Auction Committee. She is also a long-time participant and supporter of California Waterfowl Association, an award-winning nonprofit, hunter-supported conservation organization with a mission to conserve the state’s waterfowl, wetlands and hunting heritage.
Wayne Langston, Vice President, Production
Wayne manages the recruiting of ranchers for the Panorama Meats program, secures contracts, and oversees rancher compliance with Panorama Meats’ standards for 100 percent grass fed and grass finished cattle-raising protocols. Wayne also conducts trainings and seminars for meat department managers and store personnel. Wayne has been with Panorama Meats since 2002.
Wayne serves on the board of directors for the Honey Lake Valley Resource Conservation District in Lassen County. He was a past director of the California Shorthorn Association and a past director of the Lassen County Cattlemen’s Association. He owns and manages a registered commercial cattle operation in Susanville, California, and has shown and judged cattle extensively throughout the U.S.
Becky Faudree, Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Becky Faudree oversees daily operations of Panorama Meats including team and program development, strategic planning, processing, sales and marketing. She brings an in-depth knowledge of the specialty meat industry to Panorama Meats gained during her ten years of national and global meat program leadership with Whole Foods Market.
Her positions at Whole Foods Market from 2006 to 2015 included Global Meat Coordinator and Global Meat Buyer. Becky worked closely with meat companies, ranchers and farmers to help get their programs and products to market. From 2014 to 2015, she also co-directed the nonprofit animal welfare organization Global Animal Partnership (GAP) as its Director of Marketing and Business Development.
Becky is an advocate for sustainable ranching and farming and is passionate about making a positive influence in agriculture. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University of Sacramento.
Kelly Rogers, Logistics Manager
Kelly handles the product distribution logistics and works closely with all carriers to ensure safe and efficient product delivery. She assists and provides support for various production, processing, merchandising, marketing and sales activities for Panorama Meats. She holds a B.S. in Agricultural Business from California State University Chico. Kelly has been with Panorama Meats since 2013.
Danielle Wood, Processing & Quality Assurance Coordinator
Danielle plays an integral role in bringing 100% grass-fed beef to your plate. As Processing & QA Coordinator she works with our ranchers and processors to make sure that the 100% grass fed beef you enjoy with your family meets our rigorous quality and safety standards every step of the way. She has been with WGB since 2014, working as a summer intern twice while studying Agriculture Business at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She started with Western Grassfed Beef full-time after graduating with her B.S. in June of 2016. She is also a member of the 7th generation Wood Cattle Ranch, one of Western Grassfed Beef’s partnering family ranches.
Darrell Wood, President, Rancher & Board Member
Darrell is a sixth-generation full-time rancher and owner of Leavitt Lake Ranches in Susanville and Vina, California. In 2001, he and his wife, Callie, began raising grass-fed cattle on their 40,000 acres of family-owned and leased rangelands in Northern California. As a co-founder of Panorama Meats, Darrell created environmental stewardship protocols that are now practiced by many of Panorama’s more than 50 family ranchers in nine states.
A national leader in rangeland preservation, Darrell was a founding member, 14-year board member and past president of the California Rangeland Trust. He also served as former chairman, past president and is currently a board member of the Partnership of Rangeland Trusts.
Darrell was honored for grassland stewardship by the Society for Range Management in 1999, received the 2010 California Beef Cattle Improvement Association’s Outstanding Seedstock and Commercial Producer of the Year Award, and won the 2009 National Environmental Stewardship Award from the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
He received one of three 2006 National Wetlands Conservation Awards from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Darrell also served as Vice President of the California Cattlemen’s Association and President of the Lassen County Cattleman’s Association.
Mack Graves, Senior Advisor & Board Member
Mack has been involved in the food industry for more than 40 years. He was CEO of Panorama Meats from 2006 until 2011 and is now a trusted advisor to the company. He speaks nationally and internationally on meat and poultry marketing issues, with an emphasis on establishing consumer-trusted brands. He is recognized as an expert in the natural and organic meat and poultry industries.
Nurtured on his parent’s ranch, Mack’s agriculture experience progressed to senior levels at Armour Food Company and on to senior production and marketing positions at Perdue Farms, Inc., and general management positions at Clearwater Fine Foods, USA.
Mack served as President and CEO of Coleman Natural Meats, Inc. during its transition from a family business to the largest natural beef company in the U.S. He also was interim CEO of Meyer Foods, producer of Meyer Natural Angus Beef. Mack has worked extensively with the United States Soybean Export Council throughout the world giving seminars and lectures on leadership, management and marketing helping individual beef, poultry, seafood and feed companies.
Mack writes a monthly column called, “Marketing Trends” for the North American Meat Institute’s Lean Trimmings member newsletter as well as a biweekly blog, “Meat Your Markets” for Meatingplace.com. Graves served on the Organic Trade Association’s Livestock Sub-Committee, which helped write the organic protocols for raising, processing and marketing organic meat and poultry and became part of the organic standards. He also served on the Board of Directors of Humane Farm Animal Care that established industry standards for the humane treatment of farm animals. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era attaining the rank of Captain and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his service. He holds both a B.S. and M.B.A. degrees.
